SALT - Food Review
- by Mayar Moheb -
Salt is one of the restaurants which made a buzz when it had opened its branches in Egypt as they say they make their beef in a very special way (dry aging beef to be specific).
Their beef burgers has the same taste of The big tasty from McDonald but in a better quality so if you like McDonald's taste you would surely love Salt. They make old school burger, not messy sandwiches and there is no creativity there as well, just tomatoes onions and sauce. (you can add mushrooms as well)
The fries there is just fine and similar to the burgers, they are classic (order their cheesy fries). They also make chicken sandwiches and chicken wings. The wings were not good however, a little dry and needs more flavor and sauce. As for the desserts, the "Pizzokie" which is a mix between cookies and molten cakes with ice-cream is a must-have delicacy. In Tagamou branch they apply the "Help your self system" and the setting area is open air as it is a trunk not a restaurant.
