Coco Egypt - Food Review
By Mayar Moheb
If you're living in Tagamou or used to visit it to enjoy the uncrowded and quiet cafes and restaurants, you may feel annoyed for how Tagamou has turned into a fully booked, noisy, and overly crowded place.
But that's why Coco could be your perfect place to go. Coco is a restaurant and cafe with more than perfect decoration and atmosphere.
They have 2 setting areas the indoor and outdoor.
The staff there is so friendly and the service was really fast (the order took like 10 mins to get ready). And about the food, I have tried the following:
- Grilled chicken with mushroom sauce and two side dishes (mashed potato and veggies). The chicken was on point and the sauce was perfect. The mashed potatoes were good but not that perfect and the veggies were a real disaster (at EGP 88)!!
- The chocolate lava was just mouthwatering... the smell, taste, size...everything was on point (EGP 45).
- Hot chocolate was really really good and it's safe to say that it wasn't like any other hot chocolate I have tried (EGP 32).
Lastly, the staff there said that so many people visit Coco only for their special Shisha, so if you're a shisha smoker maybe you would like to try it someday. All in all, the experience combined with the above prices were suitable especially considering the quality.
